To celebrate our 30 th anniversary, we have partnered with the UW-Milwaukee Foundation to establish the Stowell Associates Scholarship Fund for Care Management. Our Co-founders, Phyllis Mensh Brostoff taught at UWM and Valerie Stefanich graduated from UWM. Most of our professional staff including our Executive Director, Kari Klatt, and Clinical Director, Miriam Oliensis-Torres, are graduates of UWM.
This scholarship will be awarded annually to a social work or nursing student whom, we hope, will be encouraged to focus their professional career in the specialty practice of care management. We want to ensure that in the next 30 years there will be a new generation of professional social workers and nurses practicing as care managers.
