Note to Caregivers

Dear Care Team,

Our goal is to keep our employees, clients and families well and safe through accurate information and best practices.  You should know that our guidelines are based on information available from the Centers for Disease Control and health care consultants.

If you have symptoms of acute respiratory illness we recommended you stay home and not come to work until you are free of fever (100.4° F [37.8° C] or greater using an oral thermometer), signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (e.g. cough suppressants). Notify our Care Coordinators and stay home if you are sick.

The hallmark symptoms of Covid 19 are fever, shortness of breath and dry cough.  If you have these symptoms do not report to work, self- quarantine and notify your health care provider.  Then, notify our Care Coordinators.

We are advising clients and their families to cancel non-essential medical appointments and social outings. The entire care team is prepared to support you and these decisions.  If clients and family members have questions, please refer to a member of your care team.

At this time you can expect emails from your leadership team twice a week with updated information.

Take good care,

Kari Klatt RN, C-ASWCM
