Ron Engel, Chief Financial Officer of Stowell Associates, is named 2013 CFO of the Year. The Business Journal recognizes top financial executives of Milwaukee area businesses who are critical to the success of their organizations. In the Journal’s October 11 publication, Stowell Co-founders, Phyllis Mensh Brostoff and Valerie Stefanich are quoted saying, “Ron is calm, deliberate, thoughtful and thorough. He explains our benefits and pay to our employees, and –very important– he and his department never make a mistake in payroll.” They also added that “he has a good sense of humor.”
Engel was one of three executives honored in the Small Private Companies category. He is pictured here accepting the award with Business Journal editor Mark Kass. Engel has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Carroll University and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He has been with Stowell Associates since 1998. As a member of the agency’s management team, his knowledge and experience are critical in making sound decisions regarding day-to-day business operations as well as short- and long-term strategic planning. Thank you Ron and congratulations on your achievement!
