Support Group for Spouses of those living with Parkinson’s Disease

The Jewish Community Center hosts a support group for spouses of those living with Parkinson’s Disease the second Monday of the month from 10:30am-12:00pm.  The group is open to the community and welcomes everyone looking for support in dealing with the challenges that this situation presents to caregivers.  Miriam Oliensis-Torres, MSW, LCSW, C-ASWCM is the group facilitator.

Miriam is the Clinical Director at Stowell Associates, Inc. and has extensive experience facilitating support groups.  She has trained support group facilitators and presented at numerous support groups about coping with Parkinson’s Disease throughout Wisconsin.

The Jewish Community Center is located at 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53217.  The group is free and held in room 3J15.  For more information contact Miriam at (414) 963-2600.
